Hi Everyone!
Within the last month I have spent two and a half weeks in New York. I have spent a week in New York City and then a week and a half in Upstate New York in the town of Oneonta. I always thought I was in love with Florida, mainly for the heat, but in those two weeks I feel in love with New York, the city and upstate. Upstate New York is beautiful and full of tons of small towns, New York City is packed with people, store, and restaurants. Each are different but I loved the atmosphere's of both. I am going to share with you those two weeks in New York by showing you the pictures and telling you all that I did.
Let's Get Started!
NYC:
The above picture is of Herald Square and we stayed in a hotel that was a block from here. Here there were tons of people and quite a few street performers. I would have taken a picture from my window but it was a lovely brick building.
As we were trying to find our way we landed upon Madison Square Garden. I would have loved to go see a Rangers Game. It would have been awesome, I love hockey!
The Empire State Building was super close to out hotel, so we saw it a lot.
This was over in SoHo and it just reminded me of scenes in Gossip Girl were they walk down sidewalks.
While in SoHo we had to stop in Georgetown Cupcake and I had the best cupcake I have ever eaten, I had a Peanut Butter one.
Times Square
The group that I was with went and saw Wicked and it was amazing. It was also my first Broadway musical and it was unbelievable.
Since I fell in love with Broadway another girl and I went to a place in Times Square where you can get half priced tickets and we went to Cinderella. The story line was simple but the costumes were out of this world and the theater was gorgeous.
Mini Broadway/Times Square OOTD:
Blazer - Kohls
Dress - Forever 21
Bag - Longchamp
Ignore my awful hair the humidity was horrid!
Central Park
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art we went to the Charles James Exhibit and the gowns were exquisite.
911 Memorial
The Skyline view from the Staten Island Ferry
ONEONTA:
This is the house that we spent most of the time at. It is my mom's cousins and it was gorgeous and so cute.
The left picture is from Cooperstown and the left is of the adorable little guy I hung out with all week.
