Hi Everyone!
Today is Fashion Friday! I can not believe the last post I made was on Sunday. I have missed Makeup Monday and My Life Wednesday. I did break my computer so I have to use my old semi-broken one, which has been a struggle. I thought today I would put together a couple outfits that one might wear to an interview or when they had to dress up.
Let's Get Started!
All of the outfits are from Gap. I find that they have a great selection of business attire. I would have gone to Banana Republic but do not have one in my area. If you are looking for business wear and a classy look I would go to these places to look: Gap, Banana Republic, New York & Company, White House Black Market, and Ann Taylor.
The first outfit(s) that I have put together are with this shift dress.
I added a belt to it just because the dress by itself is shapeless. On top of that I added a navy button up that matched the navy of the dress. This helped to make it more trendy with layers. There was also a different pattern that was black and red instead of navy and pink.
The next look is with a pair of black dress pants and a coral/orange blouse.
I loved this coral top. It was pretty low cut but nothing that a camisole could not fix. I did belt it in the second picture. This helps to add shape to the shirt and changes the whole silhouette of the outfit. This is also a great shirt to add with a pair of black skinny pants. With wearing the skinnies you are able to pair it with boots to make it a little bit more fashionable.
The next outfit is my favorite even though it is simple. It is black pants and a white oxford shirt.
Black and white is very trendy for the fall so this makes a great fall outfit. These pieces are perfect because they can be mixed and matched with tons of different outfits. I added a scarf so that it was not so plain but added a bit of fun to the outfit because of the pattern. A colored scarf would look good with this as well.
Those are a couple of professional looking outfits that I put together from Gap. I tied to focus on getting pieces that could easily be paired with other things in ones wardrobe. When building up a wardrobe having versatile pieces is important.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
