One Shirt - Five Ways (Fashion Friday)

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday the 13th! I am so ready for the weekend and bet you are too. Today is Fashion Friday on my blog and I am going to share with you how you can wear one shirt five different ways. I believe it is so important to get pieces that are versatile and you can pair with several outfits in your wardrobe.

 

I have chose a pretty basic top. It is a solid black, button down, collared tank top. I personally love collars and button downs. Having a neutral piece like this really can go a long way in your closet, and I am going to show you why that is.

The first way to wear it is with jeans. Either normal blue jeans or any colored jeans can work with this top. This can also work for any season. Adding a sweater and boots make it perfect for fall and winter.

 

 

 

Skirts of all different kinds can go with this shirt. A maxi, pencil, circle, or mini skirt can all work. With a skirt and a pair of heels the top can really be dressed up and worn on any occasion.

 

 

This is one of my favorite looks that I came up with using Polyvore. Since the top looks to be a little longer why not pair it with a fun printed legging and combat boots. This also can be wore in the winter if you threw on a black sweater.

 

 

With these shorts I think the top looks dressy and not so casual. With a pair of black shorts it is the perfect way to wear a bright colored shoe. It can even be paired with jean shorts as well to make it casual everyday wear.

 

 

Dresses may not be something you would think to add a shirt to. But with a dress like this you can put it over it. I would leave it unbuttoned and put a belt on at the waist of the dress. This adds a great layered look.

 

These are all pretty basic ways to wear a shirt. Sometimes you just don't think about all the ways that you can wear one shirt that is in your closet. This also shows that it is good to have a neutral and versatile piece. A shirt like this can really get a lot of wear out of it and proves to be a good investment.
