Shoesday Tuesday || Lylah Heeled Mule

Hello Everyone!

If there is one thing that I cannot help buying it would be shoes. Shoes are one of my favorite clothing items to purchase and it has almost become a bit of a problem. Adding to my problem I work  at a clothing store that sells shoes. So everyday I see all the new shoes we get in and sometimes I just can't help myself. That being said, I work at a clothing store, I am on my feet for around 9 hours a day straight Monday through Friday. So you could say I take what I put on my feet very seriously. The goal is to make it at least until break in the shoes I have on because who likes changing shoes after two hours. I'm here to ofter you a little insight on the shoes I purchase and to really let you know if they are comfortable and how long you can expect to wear them before your feet are screaming.

Let's Get Started!

I am starting off my Shoesday Tuesday with a mule that I wore today, the Madden Girl Lylah Heeled Mule. I'm going to take you through a series of questions to let you know a little about the shoe and my honest thoughts about it.

Name: Madden Girl Lylah Heeled Mule Sandal

Price: $49.95

Heel Height: 2 1/2"

Color: Tan Suede

Worn Before: This was my second time wearing this pair of shoes to work so it is safe to say that they were at least a little bit broken in wearing them this time around. The first time wearing them they were comfy but I did not last near as long as I did today. I have trouble with blistering around my toes when it comes to straps and the first time I wore them they irritated my big toes at the front of the strap.

True to Size: I normally wear an 8 1/2 but for these I sized up to a 9. The 8 1/2 feet the width of my feet but the back of my heels were hanging off. Sizing up a half size solved that problem.

Hours Worn: Today I wore them from 8am in the morning until 2pm comfortably, they did not start hurting until 3pm when I changed into my flats. Again, I was on my feet for the majority of that time so for a heeled sandal they are pretty dang comfortable.

Total Comfort: As I said, I found these mules to be quite comfortable and didn't start hurting or irritating my toes until hours into the day so on the comfort scale I'd give them a 7 out of 10.

Blisters: I did not have any blisters from these shoes!!

Thoughts: The second I saw these sandals I knew I had to have them, they are beautiful. They match with everything because they are a taupe-y nude color that is perfect for spring. I see myself wearing these even more as the temps rise. It would be so easy to dress them up or wear them with jeans like I do. They are shoes that you can wear for years to come because they are such a simple silhouette that will not in the near future go out of style.

Where to Buy: These shoes can be purchased from Buckle and DSW

Recommend: If you are in the market for a decently priced heeled sandal I would defiantly check these out because at this price you can't beat the style and comfort level. They look higher end then they are and who doesn't love that?!
