Outfit of the Day || January 29th, 2015

Hi Everyone!

This week I have been loving the weather. Even though it is in the high thirties but, for this time of year in the midwest that is pretty great. I love wearing skirts and so today I just thought why not. I'm cold anyway so what does it matter and I wasn't outside that much anyway.

Let's Get Started!

White V-neck Sweater - Old Navy
Black Vest - Old Navy
Wine Skater Skirt - Forever 21
Knee High White Socks - Christmas Present
Black Boots - Herbergers (Yonkers)

Outfit of the Day || January 23rd, 2015

Hi Everyone!

Today was a pretty uneventful day. I only had one class today, Accounting 2, so my day was not bad at all. I met with my professor today to discuss my internship options for the summer and start getting things all figured out. Thinking about everything that I have to do and figure out completely stresses me out and makes me so anxious. With that being said lately I have been needing to relax myself at night. What I have been doing is going through my night routine of taking off my makeup, picking out a movie, making some tea and then getting in bed and watching a movie. It really helps me to relax after a long day and just not have my mind constantly thinking about everything I need to do.

Anyway, here is what I wore today. I wasn't sure how I felt about the sweater thing but I think it looked kind of contemporary and definitely a step outside my comfort zone. Let me know what you think though in the comments.

Let's Get Started!

Sweater/Poncho: Forever 21
White Long Sleeve Shirt: JCPenny
Dark Legging Jeans: Gap (These are seriously the most comfortable jeans I have ever wore. They feel like leggings and stretch like leggings but look completely like jeans.)

Black Boots: Herbergers (Yonkers)

Gold Knot Earrings: Old Navy
Gold Knot Bracelet: Old Navy
Chevron Bracelet: Wal-Mart
Gold and Black Beaded Bracelet: Forever 21

My Essential Accessories (Fashion Friday)

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday. I am so ready for the weekend to be here. Today is fashion Friday and today I am going to move away from clothes and talk about accessories. I am going to share with you, what in my opinion, are some essential accessories to have.

Let's Get Started!

I believe that accessories can make or break an outfit. They can also dress and outfit up or down. Accessories can make a simple outfit complex and interesting. I am going to show you some pieces that I have that I could not live without.

The first thing that I always have to have is my Pandora charm bracelet. I like that no one else will have the exact same bracelet that I do. This is because you customize it with the charms that you like and represent you! It is simple and looks amazing whether you are casual or dressed up. I got this from a jewelry store in my hometown mall.

Gold Bracelets are next. Some simple gold bracelets are something that I need. I am not someone who likes to mix gold and silver jewelry. That being said if I am wearing silver I wear the bracelet above and if I am wearing gold I like to have these bracelets. I got these at a local apricot lane boutique.

A watch is something I could not have lived without at work. I got the white band so that there would be as little silver or gold on it. That way I could wear it with silver and gold jewelry. This watch is just from Target but I would lobe to get a Michael Kors or Fossil watch in the future.

A necklace that I think is essential is a bubble necklace. I was not sure if I would find many things to wear this with but I wear it all of the time. I have this white one and a blue one. I have found that I do wear the white one more often because it matches more. That being said I would recommend getting a neutral colored bubble necklace. I got this off of amazon.

A basic silver ring. I wear this ring 24/7. I never take this ring off because I love it. I have worn it for so long that when I don't have it on I feel weird. I believe that this is from Pandora but I could be wrong.

When in doubt, pearl it out. My pearl earrings are my go to. I wear these with absolutely everything. They are a piece that can be worn with anything that you wear.

Some small and fun silver and gold rings. I like to wear multiple rings at a time and I don't want them to always just be plain. Forever 21 has some great rings that add a little fun, and they are cheap.

Something new that I have been into is knuckle rings. I like how they add layer to your rings that are on your fingers and actually look trendy and neat.

A pair of silver or gold hoops. These are an essential piece because they are so basic and can be wore with anything. I think everyone has to have a pair of these in there jewelry collection.

A collar necklace. I wear this when I wear collared shirts and it looks so good. I would recommend this even though it is not that versatile but I works when no other necklace might. I think it adds a girly element to a button up shirt. You can find some cheap to try out at forever 21.

Those are my essential jewelry piece! What are your cant live without pieces. Let me know down in the comments and maybe I will have to add something to my collection.
