Ulta Haul || Blossoms & Beauty

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be doing an Ulta Haul. Last week I took a trip to Ulta and picked up a few things and I am going to share with you my first impressions on the products that I have bought.

Lets Get Started!

------------

The main reason that I even stepped foot into Ulta last week was because of there sale on the liter shampoo and conditioners. Usually I do not have a preference on my shampoo and condition and am just fine with my $5 stuff from target but when I saw these and how good of a deal they were I could not pass them up. I picked up the Redken clear moisture shampoo and Redken all soft conditioner. Along with the liters you got a free pump with them. I have used Redken before and do like it a lot. I can see a bit of a difference in my hair using this compared to herbal essences. Overall my hair is softer and the ends of my hair look better. One thing I really like about Redken is the smell. I can not pin point the smell on either of them but I think they smell very pleasant. If you are looking for a higher end salon shampoo and conditioner Redken is definitely the brand that I would recommend.

One thing that I have been in the market for was a good, full coverage concealer and I found one that I am, so far, really liking. Boi-ing by Benefit is the concealer that I bought and I am loving it! It is full coverage so it is super easy to cover up problem areas such as zits, under eyes, and acne scars.

Another thing, besides it being full coverage, that I like about this concealer is that it is in a pot. When I asked the associate about what I wanted she suggested a few and all the others where in tubes. I previously had one that was in a tube and I don't like it as much as I like this one. I believe that is because the texture is different. When it is in a tube I think that the product tends to be thinner and more runny where as when it is in a pot like this it is thicker which I personally like better.

Nail Polish! I am a sucker for nail polish and always seem to come out of that store with at least one. This time though I think I went a little crazy.

Top Row: You're Such A Budapest (OPI), Top Coat (OPI), Pompeii Purple (OPI), Off To Miami (essence), Space Queen (essence).

Bottom Row:  Sweet as Candy (essence), Party Princess (essence), Break Through (essence), Ultimate Pink (essence), Fame Fatal (Essence).

To justify buying this much nail polish I reasoned with myself because all of the essence polishes where only 99 cents. Which I think is a great deal. I do though have some which I which I wouldn't have bought because they are not as great as some of the others. I have not used all of them yet but I am hoping that more of them are good.

The one I know that is not so great is the Sweet as Candy. Really you would have to apply about ten coats to actually see the color in the bottle that is how sheer it is. On the other hand I love the off to Miami, you only have to apply about two coats because it is very opaque and it lasted a while without chipping! The two glitters which are Space Queen and Party Princess are your basic glitters but I like that they are very little pieces of glitter and not chunky glitter so it goes on smooth.

The OPI's I love both the colors. The Pompeii Purple is misleading because it is definitely a pink but you can tell that just from the bottle. It is a beautiful iridescent polish and has a bit of purple in the pink and looks absolutely beautiful on the toes. The other one, You're Such a Budapest, is a periwinkle color. I have it on my nails right now and I still am not sure though if I would call it a purple or blue but I now I would call it a very pretty color!

The last thing that I picked up was Tressemme's Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-in Spray. This is one of my favorite heat protectant spray along with CHI's iron guard. One thing I like about this unlike CHI's is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff and almost like I just put hair spray in. I like putting this in when my hair is wet and right before I blow dry it. When I use this I do think that it does help to prevent split ends and would recommend this for a cheap heat protectant.
