Holiday Haul (Fashion Friday)

Hi Everyone!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Holiday season. I know I will be continuing to celebrate Christmas tonight with my Grandpa. I thought it would be fun to show you what I received and if you have a holiday type haul leave me a link below and I would love to check it out or leave below a comment of what you received.

Let's Get Started!

Cheetah Print Sweater from Gap:
This I picked out a few months ago because it was a steal on clearance. I only was able to purchase it under the condition that my mother could wrap it up for Christmas. I absolutely love it and it is perfect for winter.

Socks:
I don't know if you know but Targets socks are about the most comfortable things ever! My mother has Target socks and I always steal them I am pretty sure I have every pair of hers. So for her buying these was a no brainier. I love high socks with my boots and these are so cute because, I know you cant see but, they have pink specks all through them and are super cute.

Superman Sleeping Shorts:
I am someone who can only sleep in shorts. I cannot and will not sleep in pants, they bother me! So these are perfect because they are loose, soft, and comfortable. I also love superheros.

Infinity Scarf:
I have an obsession with scarves. I get them every year as gifts and wear them to death. This scarf is probably one of the softest scarfs I own and cannot wait till it is around my neck. It is gorgeous and has gold sequins throughout it.

Grey Tote:
I purchased this with Christmas money I received. In May I am traveling to New York and I wanted a new bag to take on the plane that would be able to fit my laptop and everything that I need. I found this one at Forever 21 and thought it was stunning and chic. It also feels nice and not plasticy at all which is something that I hate and can find frequently in Forever 21 but not this one.

Brown Flats:
These are so comfortable and cute and can be worn casual or dressed up which is something that I love. The only downside is the bottom is flat and so even on my carpet I am slipping and sliding, they will not be ice friendly.

Tie Blanket:
I was so happy to receive this blanket from one of my cousins and think it is so cute and obviously it is so soft and comfy. I love it!

Pearl Earrings:
I have been dying for some pearl earrings and this was the top thing on my Christmas list. I think they can be worn with anything and everything and make you look so classy. These are probably one of my favorite things I got for Christmas.

Pearl Ring:
So this was kind of a joke and not a real pearl. For the longest time I told my mom pearl earrings and then just a month ago I said maybe I want a ring. My guess is she already bought the earrings so bought this just to be a joke at my indecisiveness on what I wanted for pearl jewelry.

Fossil Watch:
I have been wanting a new watch forever and have had my eyes on Michael Kors watches but as we all know those are rather expensive and I knew I would not be getting one but when I opened up this I was so surprised and it is beautiful. It is rose gold but I will have to go in to get one thing removed because it is a little bit too big.

Bow Pandora Charm:
Each year I get a new charm and I have been loving making hair bows so this bow charm is more than perfect for me not to mention it is so cute!

Silver Necklace:
I am a lover of statement necklaces but sometimes having light necklaces is a necessity and I think this one is so pretty but also interesting at the same time.

Lilly Pulitzer Chi Omega Bangle.
I am in Chi Omega at my school and when I found this I had to have it. I love the Chi Omega print I think it is so pretty and I like that it is relatively simple but has so much color.

Shower Gel:
Every year I get shower gel from someone. I like having shower gel to use when I shave my legs. I already have soap on my razor but I add shower gel anyway.

Nail Polish:
I am a nail polish junkie and am in love with these colors. The Sally Hansen colors, pacific blue and coral reef, are more spring colors but love them the same as Essie's after school boy blazer which I couldn't resist putting on my nails right away.

Marc Jacobs Rollerball Perfume Set:
I originally wanted Marc Jacobs Honey but since it is new it is ridiculously expensive so my mom found these and they all smell amazing! When I first got rollerballs a few years ago I was not a big fan of them but I have been using them a lot more recently since I ran out of my bottle. I am thinking of putting all the ones I have in a glass, glass and they will look so pretty.
Let me know down below if when I get back to school you want a room tour to see my decorating and stuff like that.

Naked Palette:
I know, I know I am about 10 years to late on this but I finally have the Naked Palette. I do already have the Naked 2 Palette and I am sure you are wondering, "Rachel why didn't you just get Naked 3?" Well I will tell you. In Naked there are more browns and blacks which I like where as in Naked 3 it is more blush and pinks which I do not like wearing as often. I came to the conclusion I would get more use out of Naked than Naked 3.

I tunes Gift card:
Pretty self explanatory, to get music which I need on my car rides to and from school.

Harry Potter Calendar:
I have an obsession with Harry Potter and every year I receive my Harry Potter daily calendar and I love it. I love reading facts and seeing pictures from my favorite movies.

Lastly my number one favorite thing...

Lilly Pulitzer Agenda:
I wanted this the second I saw this. It is the most beautiful agenda you will ever see, I am sure of it. I know it sounds silly to be excited about a planner but I was. My mom also got me the Greek Sticker set which is so cute and has stickers to put in my planner that say initiation, bid day, rush, formal, etc...

So that is what I received this year at Christmas. I love everything that I got and loved watching my family open up what I got them. Again like I said leave me a link to your posts or let me know what you got.

Thank you so much for taking a look!
New posts every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sundays.
Feel free to leave any comments that you have down below, I love seeing them!
Let me know if you have any requests for future posts.

  1. Where did you get the roller balls from? I really want the Marc Jacobs perfumes and those would be a great start!

    1. The roller balls are from Herburgers (at least that is what the department store is called where I am) but I would think you would be able to find them for sure on there own at Ulta or te set at a different department store.

  2. You could try using a cheese grater or sandpaper lightly on the bottom of your shoes? It will rough up the sole a little bit and give you more grip :)
